Literature Search Requests 

Faculty and Hospital Staff may request the library perform Literature Search Requests. The NMC librarians will perform a database search based on your parameters and return a list with article title, abstract, and link. We ask for roughly seven business days per request. Library Instruction - Classroom Visits 

Library staff can provide a variety of services that can be implemented into the classroom. 

• Embedded ask-a-librarian in your Brightspace forum
• Classroom visits, including:
  • Database usage
  • Research tips
  • APA basics
  • Plagiarism
  • Videos of library instruction for asynchronous classes 
  • AI literacy
  • Identifying credible sources
  • Brightspace quizzes for research skills
• APA Review

Library Equipment

The library has 6 laptops available for checkout, as well as DVD players that can be connected via USB.

Purchase Request

The library is happy to purchase supplemental material for your class. If you have a book, journal, subject, or similar purchase request, we want to hear from you! The form can be found here.
