Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences
The goal of the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (CCTS) is to facilitate clinical and translational research at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Memorial Hermann Hospital System. The CCTS is one of the original 12 such centers funded by the National Institutes of Health’s Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSAs).
Clinical and Translational Science Awards
With support of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program was launched in 2006 and has expanded to about 60 academic medical institutions across the country. Each component of the CTSA program is crucial in supporting our mission: Accelerating Discoveries Toward Better Health. Working together, we can help shape the future of healthcare.
